Procrastination

…Always leaving things to the last minute. That’s the story of my life!!! And the story of the lives of 98% of my friends, too (I really envy that 2% who actually get things done well before the deadline)! My mother hates me for it :p

It’s 2.45pm in Australia right now and I currently have under 2 hours to finish a history assignment before I must drop it into the assignment submission box at uni! Phew, luckily I live only 10-15 minutes away from my university, which means that as soon as I’m done, I can just race out the door and get a bus to go there!

Today is a really chilly, windy and rainy day in Australia…we’re fast approaching winter, and boy am I excited! I’m a huge ski nut, and weather like this brings snow to the mountains…the Australian ski season is due to start on June 10, and I’m SO excited!! You know, many people have reacted with surprise when I tell them that there IS snow in Australia…but it’s true! However, we only ever have snow on the mountains – never in our towns and cities :( And even then, we never get as much snow on our mountains as what you get in Europe and North America! Also, when I say “chilly”…it’s only actually 15° C (59° F)!!! Australian winters are nowhere near as cold as Northern Hemisphere winters, for sure.

I better go and finish that assignment before it’s too late. Adios for now!

Oh yes, it’s stardolls 3. birthday and what are we getting?

Oh yeah! crappy closet! isn’t that just amazing? don’t you wanna buy everysing

le piece and treat it like it was your rarest item?

No, you don’t. Oh thank you stardoll for your gifts to the people who keeps you going. That was very kind of you.

I don’t wanna sound mad when I write this cause i’m not, just very annoyed. Well I think Stardoll should have done some more out of it, I mean, I like the idea with the 3 on the closet but couldn’t thye at least have made a bigger deal out of the things they putten it on?

Doesn’t seem like it.

That is exactly what I’ve spend my day doing, baking. Me and my bff went to her palce and spend our interre afternoon baking a huuuuuggee chokolate cake, yummy :P

When I’m writting this i’m sure she’s still baking them, we used over a kilo of butter and 2 kilos of sugar! wow, her kitchen is one big mess, but the cake is good.

Earth Day

Hi everyone just a quick note from me :)

Well today is earth day, so that means we’re gonna “give presents to the earth” and no I don’t meen running around dancing a crazy dans and singing an idiana song (even though I’m sure it would be lots of fun). I  mean helping the evoirment. Which means; turn off the computer your sitting at, turn off your tv and you phone and.. yeah you know where I’m going. Lets give the earth and envoirment a gift, shall we?

It is easy to go over-the-line with it though… but just stay yourself and you’ll be cool!

‘Ello!

As everyone had probaly noticed our fantamazing design is up and running. The writters are all checked in and you can read about them in the “About Us” page. We are very much hoping that you guys will come and check this blog out as often as possible, as we are hoping to become something “unique”. Since we will be a stardoll/fashion blog but we will also be a blog about the people behind the acconts.

We all come to Stardoll to enjoy fashion and to be with our world-wide and amazing friend, don’t we? The people behind the acconts lives are normally only known by close friends, but here we want to give you a look in on 3 normall girls life and how sd may or may not affect it.

You can call this a Stardoll diary, you can call it a Stardoll fashion blog and you can call it “just another Stardoll blog”. The chose is yours.

Joy to the World

Hey all!

So, my first post here at La Sérotine :) After a few, um, obstacles, Emma and I hope to finally create a place where everyone is truly welcome and where “anything goes”…a place where we can just share our writing with you all, no matter what the writing is about! We will soon also be joined by Claire, to make us one very dynamic writing team!

Firstly, I thought that maybe I should tell you a little about the name of our blog. For those of you who understand French, you know that “La Sérotine” means “The Bat”. Some of you might already be thinking, “wow, that’s an unusual name to choose!”. We chose it not so much for its meaning, but because we simply love how the word sounds! French is such a gorgeous language…I’ve studied it for many years now, but still, each word is absolute honey to my ears!

Speaking of French, that’s my next class at university today,at 3pm :) It’s currently 12.30pm in Australia, and I’m at home right now, just relaxing a bit before I get the bus back to university. I did have a class this morning, for Mediaeval Europe History, for 2 hours…gosh, I have to admit that I just could NOT stay awake during the class! I’m TOTALLY passionate about history, but I just haven’t been getting enough sleep lately! Probably because of that enormous law assignment I had to finish the other day, which left me staying up until 3am lol. But most embarrassingly, I KNOW that the lecturer noticed me constantly drifting off to sleep, because he kept looking at me each time I jolted awake!!!

As you can tell, La Sérotine will be as much a fashion and Stardoll chronicle as it will be a chronicle of our REAL lives. For after all, our real lives and real emotions remain the core of our existence…fashion and Stardoll are some of those little gems amongst our lives :)

Hello people!

Hello everyone and welcome to my newest blog!

I desided to start this after a long historie of SD blogging, and making magazines. Yes, I’ve tried it all before. And what bothers me the most, was that I wasn’t able to write about what I wanted to. So that’s why I decided to make this blog.

I need a place where I can place all my random thoughts, and if you end up loving what I write. Well that’s just awesome. At this blog I’ll write about whatever I wanna, when I wanna and how I wanna. That’s what my blog is about.

I used to work for Stardoll Fashion Forward (SFF), some of you might remember me. As most people know, I wasn’t treaded as well as I hoped. I hope I’ll never have to go back to that again. But there’s one good thing I got out of the whole thing, I’ve learned what really keeps a good blog together, Teamwork. That’s what SFF was (partly) missing, and I’ll do my best avoid that from happenign here.

So not only will I write here, but also old SFF writer, and a very good friend of mine, Joy – will be joining me here. Joy is studying Lawschool and I’m in- school. So pleace understand that this blog probaly won’t have a new post everyday.

Well enough about that, I’ve told that story to many times anyways. Back to telling you a bit about myself: my name is Emma, I’m 15 years old, I live in Denmark, Copenhagen. I’m a bit spoiled, random, talk lots, polite, swett, caring, hyper, honest and loveable.

As it comes to stardoll, first of all, I made this blog so it shouldn’t be about sd, so don’t think this just anouther stardoll blog. Cause it isn’t, this blog might have some post about sd, but this blog well be focusing more on the people behind the acconts. Not about sd’s latest overprices crap (which I would totally buy anyways). Well back to the point, my accont is mysecketlover, contact me there if you want anything from me.

Well I’ve talked and talked long enough, hope you’ll come back to hear more of my crazy thoughts. So long!
