bloglovin?

laserotinebanner Hmm.. it’s been a while hasn’t it? Do you guys feel like I’m forgetting you? Well if you do, then I won’t lie to you, I have forgotten about this blog. About posting and about… yeah writting.

To be honest, my life is prettay boring lately. And honestly, who gives a danm about my life? I’m mean, I’m just a normall teenage girls, with teenage problems. Who doesn’t have that? I’m a bit of a random person? so what! I adore fashion, what teenage girl doesn’t?

Basically, I’m trying to say I have nothing wow-ish to tell you guys. Just plain me stuff. Stop reading now if you’re bored already

Remember my last post? The one I did about fall’s fashion? Well I’ve gotten.. well non of the items I talked about. Ok, so I did get the sky-high socks but that’s it. So I thought I’ll do a new one, a christmas one. This christmas it’s all about glamour and shapes, make some statements.

fashion jul

1: Monki dress

2: Monki skirt

3: Vagabond shoes

4: devotion collection, Pilgrim (necklace, ring and earings)

5: Topshop Trophy Blazer

6: Jimmy Choo for H&M clutch

I’ll be begging my mommy to let me have that dress for christmas, it’s soo prettay!  And if I can get the jacket too I’ll be in heaven. I think I’ll be buying the ring tomorrow (hoping to get the rest for christmas), I love the kind of vintage look it has. And the shoes, amazing, I wish my mom hadn’t said no. But if your mom is nicer than mine, those are some must-have shoes! Of course I had to take something from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection, and I def. like this clutch. I was planing to go get these pair of ballerinas, but now thinking about the weather and all, it just seemed like a bad idea. Also, if  you think you’ve seen the Monki skirt before, well you have, I added it on my last post as well, haven’t gotten around to buy it yet though.

Ah well.. Do I have something more to tell you? I’ve visited my BFF Claire, a while back. She lives in Sweden, and her accont is Tyrall. We had lots of fun :P Then I’ve been busy with school, isn’t that suprising. Anyways, I hope you liked my 6 christmas must-haves. Oh and tell me what you think, do you want more of these must-haves/ fahsion post, or what?

Untill next time, stay cool bitches.

A quick word from Joy

I’m procrastinating on a HUGE essay right now. 2800 words of it. Ugh! How does anyone even write that many words!! Well, life has been truly busy, it just hasn’t let up for the past few months. Tests every week, assignments due constantly. That’s uni life for ya. I’m really looking forward to my summer break, which is coming up on November 13. I’ll be working for 2 months over my summer to earn some cash, which I’m excited about! And then in January I’m hoping that mum will take me overseas. Anyway, I have to go now. Until next time! xo

Fashion A/W

laserotinebannerA new fashion season has finally come along, yup it’s time for the A/W fashion.

After powding through my Elle last night I thought I would show you some of the lastest new fashion trends, things we’re deffently gonna see this fall.

Mens wear are in this fall, the 1990’s inspired minimalistisk look. It’s about diffenrent grey colours, big jackets and harsh fabrigs. The suets are everywhere and styled up with grey or brown garments, big chunky accesorices such as big scrafs, statement necklaces and leather gloves. Go after the silhuet. Wool is the top fabrigs this fall, you can’t go wrong, anything from highknee soks to dresses.

To talk a bit more about the accesorices. As said the highknee socks are in, Autumn is focusing on your hip, legs and shoulders. So you just can’t go wrong with the highknee socks, wear them with you oh so lovely (high) boots, to give a perfect twist. Big scarfs and statement jellewry (wear them in silver) are here to stay, wear them with a pair of rough cotted grey jeans, a tank top and a blaser. The bags are big and chunky, think shapes, think natural colours such as light brown, grey and black.

Of course some things stay, as the chuky shoes, with laces are very in. The one shoulder dresses, the shoulder pads, the boyfriendjackets and shoes and the palittet garments.

To just mention the colours of this season (before I kill of boringness) it’s dark and “colourless” think black, white, grey, beige/light brown, dusty pink, nude, cream ect.

To round this thing up, I’m gonna show what I’ll be spending my money on this season. Take a lookout, fashion ahead.

Joy loves snow!

Heyheyhey!

Joy here! :) It’s been a while since I’ve had enough time to check in, and actually, I shouldn’t be doing this now – but I AM ANYWAY! I’m so sick and tired of all these damn assignments, really. Bring on the winter break already!!!

Speaking of the winter break: for me, it will be time to get out my skis and hit the slopes. I’m a complete snow addict, although I might not be the best skier in the world! For me, there’s nothing like the feeling of zooming down the snow. So I thought I’d just share some pictures of my two pairs of skis today!

I got the elegant black, red and gold skis three years ago as a present from my mother. I bought the cute black & white ones with my own money last week! Some of you non-skiers might be wondering, what is one girl doing with TWO pairs of skis to her name?!?! Well, different types of skis perform different functions. My red skis are my “normal” skis that are great for “normal skiing”. My black & white skis have twin tips (they’re turned up at both ends), and they’re great for doing tricks and skiing backwards. They’re also wider than the red ones, so I can ski in deeper snow better!

Gotta run now. Take care, and until next time!

Movies, friends and exams

la-serotine-banner

That is what my life is about right, I’ve been to the movies to days in a row wiht my friends, I’v spend lot of fun talking and laughing and shopping wiht my friends. And I’ ve spend time worying about the exams coming next month.

So, I’ve asked myself lately: do I even have time for this whole world anymore? I can’t seem to find the right answer, I got so amazing friends who I will miss more than you can imagine, but then again, I got a real life, and I got exams. Choses are hard, but they are there to be made.

So, so far so good, sd will not be something I will spend hours on from now on, my homework comes first (oh my life is gonna be boring).

What I’m bassicly trying to say, I won’t have time fro you guys, only in the weekend, I love writting, but got no tiem anymore. But keep visitting, I’ll push Claire’s (and Joy’s) botty over here for more posts, ‘kay?

Hista la vista bitches!

Wohoo!

la-serotine-banner

Heey everyone! It’s the Emma here. After feeling quite low the last couple of days I’m happy and ready to post!

I got several things to say today, first of all (and probaly the most boring part), I’m so overly happy because; well I’m just going to admit it, for years now I’ve have built a habbit which is that I eat some candy everyday after school. Well, I do train and bike so it’s not like I’m fat. Well I just want me to be able to stop. So my answer to all of this is one thing: smoothie. I’m crazy in loooovvee with smoothies, healthy and great! Can it get any better? oh yes they take no time to make ;)

Second thing: Does anyone know Barbara Hulanicki? no? Biba maybe? no? oh well, she was a fashion designer in 1964 where she started her famous shop Biba. The shop became famous, not only for it’s closet but also for the style of the shop which was decorated in dark colors and inspired by Art Deco (if people remember that theme from sd).

Well Babara have today lunched a new line with Topshop and you can now buy it. I’m so crazy in love with it. I’ll spend some money on it soon ;D To see the collection, click here.

Joy’s Chocolatey Thoughts

Who doesn’t love CHOCOLATE?! I know I’m certainly an immense choc addict myself. Right now, it’s just before dinner, and I’m snacking on one of these:

…Cadbury Freddo Frogs, a long-time Australian favourite! They come in so many flavours, but right now I’m just eating a good old plain milk chocolate one. You can get them in flavours such as white chocolate, “Crunchie”, strawberry-filled, mint-filled…my favourite Freddo is the “Clinker” one, which is normal chocolate with bits of “Clinker” lollies in it. You know how  almost every country has their own “iconic” chocolate maker? Well, in Australia, that icon is Cadbury. www.cadbury.com.au if you want to see more!

I must say, Cadbury is definitely NOT my favourite chocolate though! Here’s a guide to some of my personal favourites…

#1: Milka

Words can’t describe how much I ADORE Milka chocolate!!! I’m pretty sure it’s a Swiss-Austrian brand. My friends had been raving about it before we left on our school trip to Europe, and when I tried it in Austria…WHOA! It’s very smooth chocolate that’s not overly sweet or overly un-sweet. Lovely. You could just walk into a shop blindfolded, buy ANY flavour and you’d still be totally satisfied, but I think my personal favourite is the one in the picture, “Schoko & Keks” (”Choco & Biscuits”). I do love ALL flavours though…in fact I had 2.2kg of Milka chocolate in my suitcase when I returned home from Europe! And one of my real-life Austrian friends sent me a fresh Milka supply in the mail the other day :D  www.milka.com for more (then choose a country for different languages. Sorry, no English available :p)

#2: Mozartkugeln

Ah yes. That chocolate ball named after the great musical genius! I brought 9 bags of this stuff home from Austria lol! I’m a great fan of marzipan (that green bit in the middle of the chocolate), so it’s only natural for me to love this. The one in the picture is made by the company Mirabell, and it’s probably the most commonly sold one…however, the ORIGINAL Mozartkugeln are made in a cafe called Konditorei Fürst out in Salzburg, Austria (Mozart’s birthplace). Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to try out the original ones just yet! www.original-mozartkugel.com/index_e.php for info (in English) about the ORIGINAL Mozartkugeln :)

#3: Lindt

Finally, something I CAN buy in Australia :) Although of course, we don’t have as many flavours as in Europe. I love Lindt’s silky smooth, fine texture and unique concepts. I don’t like EVERY kind of Lindt though…the ones I do love tend to be the ones that cost more, though..lol! I love the “Petits Desserts” (shown above) and the “Swiss Tradition” boxes the most. www.lindt.com/int for all the info.

~~~~~~~~~
Last but definitely not least – I want to share with you one of my favourite chocolate destinations in my city. It’s a chocolate cafe (they do seem to be the latest trend, don’t they!) called Koko Black, and it serves up some of the most DIVINE handmade chocolates, drinks, and specially-created chocolate desserts! Check out www.kokoblack.com.au and you’ll immediately feel hungry :p I usually have the “Belgian Spoil”, which allows me to have a bit of everything, including 2 handmade chocolates of my choice. I love meeting up with friends at Koko Black, it’s the perfect spot! Here’s a picture of my beloved Belgian Spoil for your enjoyment:
…And on that note, it’s time for dinner. Hope you enjoyed my chocolate delights!
